The English classes at the School of Architecture Escola da Cidade happened at various levels, in the Language and Culture classes for first-year students, in classes for professors and classes for employees. They also evolved into consulting for the postgraduate course Geography, City and Architecture and into translations for the publishings of Editora da Cidade.
I am extremely grateful to photographer and artist Arnaldo Pappalardo’s private English classes focused on issues such as Photography, Art, Sculpture and Architecture for the opportunity of learning and understanding. They have generated an interaction to participate in photographic essays for Pirelli Magazine and the FIT brand.
Lighting designer Gil Franco classes forwarded his participation as director at large in the International Association of Lighting Designers as well as prepared his lectures at congresses and participation in the jury of competitions.
Thankful for the great learning opportunity of participating during the pandemic in the high school at this inclusive school, focused on meaningful education and located in Serra da Cantareira.
Very grateful for learning so much about design, Giovanni’s private classes evolved to classes for his whole dear family; Ronald’s to consulting for lectures abroad and at the course of Language and Culture I used to teach at Escola da Cidade; the classes for the team extremely fun focusing on various themes such as art, literature, dance, philosophy, spirituality; some translations were part of the process.

a great pleasure to be able to teach and learn with the editor Francisco Costa my former coleague at the Faculty of Philosophy Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo, while reading De Profundis by Oscar Wilde, books by John Grisham, with conversations on spirituality, literature, philosophy and producing texts about Brazilian music.
a great challenge to teach and learn with the employees of the Physics Institute at the University of São Paulo as a scholarship monitor of the Language Center at first during one year e then for three more years privately, we redirected the course to be able to deal with themes such as nanotechnology, thin films, nuclear energy, poetry, politics, philosophy, spirituality.
